Dear CPS members,

It's that wonderful time of year again when we throw off our winter coats and enjoy the pleasure of painting outdoors en plein air. For 2010, CPS will join forces with the Connecticut Plein Air Painting Society, which organizes Paint-outs (plein air sessions) at various locations.

Please see their website, www.cpaps.org for the current schedule of events.

In addition, we've been invited to join the Easton Arts Council for a Plein Air Paint-out on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Bradley Hubbell House, 535 Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58), Easton, CT, from sunrise to sunset.

Their invitation reads: "Come spend the day in this resplendent location. Plenty of room and plenty of choices for some great painting; reservoirs, trees, historic house, gardens, birds, swans.

The Bradley Hubbell House will be open from 9-4pm. Facilities available.

Please pack a box lunch and your own water.

The paint out is free of charge, donations to the Easton Arts Council/Bradley Hubbell House are welcome.

Directions:
Merrit Parkway, exit 44, Head north on Route 58 for approx. 4.5 miles, the Bradley Hubbell House will be on the left.

Hope to see you there. Rain or Shine"

Enjoy the outings!
