"Color... rich, sun-lit color, and painting on location these are the most important elements of my paintings" Lynn |
|
| . |
Lynn Wrona is both a plein air and studio painter. Equally comfortable using oil or pastel she paints portraits and landscapes in complimentary, sun-lit colors. Lynn also paints still-life commissions in a more traditional method using heirlooms or career related objects. Through the years, Lynn has studied with several exceptional artists and teachers including Jack Callahan, Catherine Brodeur, Paul Leveille and Albert Handell. She also attended the Woodstock School of Art and the School of Worcester Art Museum. An Artist Grant to the Vermont Studio Center allowed her to spend an uninterrupted month studying and painting the Vermont landscape. Her paintings have received many awards and are in many distinguished collections across the country. |
