From his studio and home in Rye Brook, NY, John specializes in Fine Art Pastel and Oil Paintings, Limited Print Reproductions and Photographic Digital Imaging and Restoration services. His art work focuses on landscapes and seascapes along our shores of the east cost. In addition he provides portrait commissions as requested.
John studied art at the Arts Students League and The School of Visual Arts in New York City and has been a student of nationally known portrait and pastel painters, including Robert Brackman, John Howard Sanden and Daniel Green. He continues his study of Art at the Westchester Art Workshop with Andrew Lattimore.

John teaches Pastel Painting at Mamaroneck High School‘s continuing education program. He is treasurer of the Connecticut Pastel Society, and member of the Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild, and the Art Society of Old Greenwich.

He is also planning a Pastel Painter's Workshop at the Marshlands Conversancy in Rye, NY.
