I have enjoyed drawing and painting all my life, and have been diligent about making the time for art while building a business consulting practice in strategic planning. Now as my children are older and more on their own, I am able to concentrate more time on my next career. |

I love to do value sketches as I travel and then turn them into finished paintings in my studio. In the past three years Ive taken separate trips to Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and I have tons that I want to paint from each of these beautiful areas.

| When Dick was applying to college, he considered art school, but growing up one of nine children, he wasnt prepared to live the life of a struggling (read starving) artist. While at Wharton Business School he studied with Violette DeMazia at The Barnes Foundation. He has also studied in workshops with Herman Margulies, Frank Federico, Daniel Greene, Wolf Kahn, and Elizabeth Mowry. |
