Opportunities CPS offers many opportunities to get involved with the Society and is always looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of areas. Possibilities for involvement include helping to organize exhibitions, assistance with the receiving and pickup of artwork membership administration, and fundraising. Serving as a volunteer is a good way to meet fellow artists, share information, and become acquainted with the functioning of a fine-arts organization. We welcome your interest and participation. Attend our meetings. Members meet at the studio of Mally DeSomma, Waterbury, CT every eight weeks on the second Saturday of every ODD month to discuss the direction and agenda of the society. Renaissance Show Awards Chair The Renaissance Show Awards Chair position consists of contacting our awards sponsors with the help of CPS volunteers. A list of sponsors and CPS volunteers will be provided by former chair, Bridget Herbst. The Awards Chair tracks sponsors replies; meets and lunches with our nationally recognized Awards Judges on jurying day; contacts the Award Winners and provides a list of the Winners to those responsible for the Show Catalogue. The Awards Chair is encouraged to add their own personal touch to the job and can chose to share their chairmanship with a co-chair. CPS Members and Signature Show
